🐾 Slowing Down, but Still Moving: Why I’m Writing This Blog

Est Reading Time: 2 minutes

Hello and thank you for stopping by the Peover Paws blog — especially if you’re one of my lovely clients or regular readers checking in.

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Heather, the dog lover behind Peover Paws, a local dog walking business here in Knutsford. Normally, I’d be spending my days outdoors with your gorgeous dogs — exploring fields, parks, woodlands, and dodging the occasional downpour. But this month, life threw me a bit of a curveball…

On the 8th of July, I broke my leg.

As you can imagine, it’s not exactly ideal when your job involves walking dogs for a living! So for now, I’m reluctantly on the sidelines — resting, healing, and missing my furry clients more than I can put into words.

But rather than sit still and go completely stir-crazy (I’m not very good at doing nothing!), I’ve decided to turn this forced downtime into something positive: continuing this blog.

Writing gives me a way to stay connected — to my business, to my clients, and to the local dog community I care so much about. I’ll be using this space to share updates, memories from past walks, tips for fellow dog owners, and a few behind-the-scenes insights into life as a dog walker. Maybe even the odd funny story too — because let’s face it, dogs are brilliant at keeping us laughing.

So while I might be temporarily out of action, Peover Paws is very much still here — just in a slightly different form for now.

Thank you so much for the kind messages and support I’ve already received. It means the world, and I truly can’t wait to be back out walking again.

Until then — stay tuned, give your pups a belly rub from me, and keep an eye out for more posts soon!

Take care,
Heather 🐾
