Mobberley conservation area – With high and low ground, woods and small reservoirs your pooch will have all they need to run, play and splash. A highly popular dog walking area and with good reason, surrounded by rural countryside, this picturesque spot is set back off the main road and provides a safe area to walk your pooch. The pockets of water areas are great for those dogs who love to cool off on a hot day and have a swim. They never get too deep and so your dog should be safe splashing about. The wood trail encompasses the whole area and is a great way of seeing the whole conservation on route, also It links onto other walks, which are more rural, providing dog walkers with a varied walk.
Tatton Park – This is a stunning walk for dog walkers, who wish to take in breath-taking scenes of lakes, rolling hills and a stately home. There may even be an ice cream van at the end of the walk for you….a well-earned refreshment. There is over 1000 acres of land, which includes a deer park, providing dog walkers with plenty to see on their walk. Based in Knutsford town centre, it is easily accessible both on foot or in the car.
Over Peover is three miles from Knutsford town centre and there is a multitude of dig walking options in this area, it is known as rural Knutsford, thanks to the lush, green fields, pretty country lanes and local farms. Peover park is a highly recommended walking trail. This walk will take you up to the grade l listed building St Lawrence’s church and Peover Hall, which is a must see. The garden surrounding the area are beautifully kept, which are accessible in the summer, consisting of courtyards, rose gardens and a seating area. There is also a café, where you can purchase home made cakes, coffee and tea.
